Medical insurance provider EthiQal joined forces with the nation to celebrate National Doctors’ Day, paying tribute to the selfless dedication of South Africa’s medical professionals.
In a gesture of appreciation, EthiQal announced a R50 000 donation to Operation Healing Hands, a charitable organisation led by Dr Heléne Basson, providing life-changing surgical care to those in need. Coinciding with National Doctors’ Day, EthiQal marked its eighth anniversary, having recently formed a strategic partnership with iTOO Special Risks, backed by Hollard.
This year’s theme, ‘The Difference is You,’ resonated deeply with EthiQal’s mission to support healthcare professionals. CEO Alex Brownlee expressed gratitude to South Africa’s doctors, saying, their unwavering commitment, resilience and skill are at the heart of healthier futures for all.
EthiQal recognised the extraordinary challenges doctors face daily, yet their compassion, expertise, and positive impact extend far beyond clinics and hospitals, transforming communities.
“On behalf of the entire EthiQal family, we thank South Africa’s doctors for the remarkable difference they make. We are proud to support them, today and always.”
National Doctors’ Day serves as a reminder of the invaluable contributions medical professionals make.
EthiQal’s tribute honours their selflessness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care.
