Youth Day in South Africa is a day to honour the courage and sacrifice of the Soweto Uprising youth and celebrate all young people.

For two consecutive years, the nation commemorated the National Youth Month with restrictions, as the country and the world battle the global outbreak of COVID-19.

Now, more than ever, youth employment and skills development has become crucial in shaping the socio-economic landscape of the country.

Learnerships and Graduate Programmes can play pivotal roles, where businesses can invest into developing the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed in their businesses, while radically changing the youth unemployment trajectory.

“Whether you’ve got a clear career direction in mind, you’re still deciding what to do, or you’re just keen to start working – it could be the best way to kick-start your career,” says Learning & Talent expert, Tove Sithole.

As experts, we are all about empowerment and growth, we believe in the transformative power of education, which is why we’re excited to welcome all Learners and Graduates, which have already hit the ground running, with both agile and remote working experience.

Our learnership and graduate programme aims to create a bridge between university/school and work life.

“Our grads and learners are given challenging and stimulating work to ensure that they gain valuable experience at the end of their 12-month contracts – which means they will be active members of the economy,” says Tove.
