HAIRitage Month- Warwick Goldie

March 2020 – lockdown locks began. Goldilocks has always been one of my nicknames, so rather apt that the hair now matches the nickname.

No other specific reason for the growth, other than given the “abnormal” 2020/21 period we were going through. If there was ever a time to do something different it was now, hence the locks being grown.

I thought I would save money on hair cuts, how wrong I was…. I spent more money on shampoo and haircare products than I would have on haircuts. 18 months later, in September 2021, enough was enough… the locks came off.  The brushing, conditioning care, tying it up etc. was just too much.

Snip snip snip…I now have a new found respect for ladies that grow their hair – it’s not as easy and uncomplicated as it looks!
